It’s important to support folks doing special things in your own backyard, and that’s exactly what our friend Hance is doing with By Way of Dallas— something special. Everything Hance puts his name on is done with the utmost quality, and By Way of Dallas is no exception. We don’t want to sound too editorial, so we recommend you read this article from D Magazine for a more formal rundown of what Hance has built with this brand.

For us, we just want to talk to you about what we love so much about the brand and the pieces we’ve collected…

The Bomber:

Unsurprisingly, bomber jackets in general have become really popular. They’re super versatile, and can so easily be dressed up or down. What we love about this one is that at first glance it looks like a standard, handsome bomber. But as soon as we pass you by, we’re able to let you know where we’re from.

The Field Jacket:

Where do we even begin? This jacket is far from subtle, and we love it. The perfectly applied camo print coupled with the bright, overtly-Dallas patches is a match made in… well, Dallas. You’ll definitely see me wearing this jacket over everything from club collared shirts to sweatshirts this fall/winter.

Our city will never be an NYC or an LA, but don’t tell Dallas that. Dallas has the spirit of an underdog fighter who thinks losing is impossible. And in its own way, the whole By Way of Dallas collection embodies that. We’ve always shared (confidently) “oh, we’re from Dallas” when asked while out of town. Now, these pieces do all the talking for us.
