WHITE SNEAKERS

From my white Adidas shell-toes in 1999, to my worn-in white Jack Purcell’s in 2009, to these crisp white Common Projects in 2019, I’ve been all about white sneakers for quite some time. My love for white sneakers stems from my love of hip-hop and its fashion over the years. You know the cliché moments (Run DMC’s “Walk This Way”, Nelly’s “Air Force Ones”, etc.), but there’s always been something about how a plain white pair of shoes could stand their own against even the wildest of outfits. These days, I typically rock mine with a pair of cuffed jeans, chinos, or shorts, but the possibilities are endless when you find the right pair(s).
