BEHIND THE GLASSES

There are many reasons, influences, and icons that inspire me and my style. Through them all, I carry two of them in my heart and in my blood.

My parents lived a full and fashionable life, and wearing this pair of sunglasses my father bought my mother years ago allows me more time to feel like they are right beside me. I'll take every second I can get. I look at my reflection in the mirror everyday, and I am reminded of my mother's smile, my daddy's eyes, and above all, God blessing me as their child. 

I kept my outfit minimal to allow the more glamorous pieces to stand out: my mother's sunglasses and these statement earrings.
