FIELD & FLOWERS
Lately, I have been developing new friendships and gaining insights on the person I have become.
I can definitely relate to a local artist, Jeremy Biggers, on his recent art work of living a double life. It focuses on how many can relate to living the life of two different people.
Through the trials and tribulations of life, I never really associated myself as being a strong person. It was in my human nature to endure all the emotional and associate it with weakness. In the midst of the storm, it felt like I was isolated and incapable of escaping. Once I was able to overcome that time in my life, I was able to look back and reflect on the goodness it inadvertently brought me.
In some small way, this outfit is kind of a reflection of these experiences in my life and the person they have made me today. The toughness of a military field jacket combined with the softness of a floral dress reflect just that: I'm not afraid to get through difficult times in order to experience the sweetness that lives deep inside.
