COBBLE & HYDE

Well it sure has been a while since I last posted-- seasons have literally changed (and I couldn't be happier).

We're in that beautiful transition between summer and fall where the windows in our loft stay open longer, downtown walks are much more pleasant, and I start rethinking my wardrobe. Thankfully, part of that last item has been determined thanks to these new Cobble & Hyde lace-ups. I seriously cannot get over how beautiful these shoes are. They possess the ornamental perforations of a full brogue, but the silhouette of a minimal Oxford. Perfect for the office, I can already tell you I'll be wearing these everywhere from client meetings to post-work happy hours all fall/winter long!

"They possess the ornamental perforations of a full brogue, but the silhouette of a minimal Oxford."

Since these new shoes are all business, I decided to have a little fun with the rest of my outfit and inject some sprezzatura to this look.

PLEASE NOTE: 1) The unbuttoned collar (the collar on this Kiton shirt is so perfect, it really works either way), 2) the folded left jacket cuff (these sleeves actually could stand to be a bit shorter, so why not show off my favorite watch a bit?), and 3) The uneven tie length (no justification here-- I just enjoy this look)
