HIS+HER CHRISTMAS
Merry Christmas, everyone!
Like most of you, we just absolutely love this time of year. The leaves are turning, it's finally getting cold outside, and there's a general buzz in the air of excitement for the holidays.
So what does that mean for the two of us you may (or may not) be asking?
Well, one thing we've done each year since we've been married is send out a Christmas card of the two of us. It's only been 4 years, but it's already fun to look back at those young kids from 2012 in front of our downtown tree. This year is no different-- we called upon one of our favorite photographers (Joshua Fortuna) to snap a few shots in our "front yard" for this year's card. And if you caught our Instagram Story a couple days ago, you'd know that we decided to document our process...
Well, our tree is decorated and our Christmas cards are sent, so you can probably find us plopped down on the couch watching our favorite Christmas movies or fiddling around the loft listening to our favorite Christmas songs. HIS FAVORITE GIFT:
When I was eight, I woke up early on Christmas morning to the sound of metal gently clinking only to realize it was the Dalmatian puppy I wanted more than anything. 'Champ' grew up to be the best dog a guy could have, and lived a good, long life.
HER FAVORITE GIFT:
Growing up, we would always attend Midnight Mass on Christmas Eve and would get to open ONE gift when we got home. Naturally, I chose the largest one under the tree, and it was a Little Tikes Kitchen! It was such a hit, that my [boy] nephews even ditched their RC cars to play in my kitchen.
