HIS+HER x SHINOLA

We're so excited to finally share with you our latest collaboration with one of our favorite brands, Shinola. The Detroit-based watch brand is rolling out The Willard Program, and we were invited to participate.

Named after the iconic 1920s shoe polish founder, Willard Bixby, the Willard program allows you to select from a wide variety of case styles and watch straps to essentially create your own custom Shinola watch.

Shinola offers this service online, however, we're fortunate here in Dallas to have two locations to choose from, so we visited the nearby Highland Park Village store. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the (always-cool) store manager, Erin, and her friendly staff. They offered us a beverage, and we got to WORK.

Now, we'd be lying if we said that having the vast case and strap options wasn't a bit overwhelming, but it was overwhelming in the BEST possible way. We spent over an hour assembling watch combinations that never would have been available outside this program. And again, with so many options, neither of us could select just ONE... So we ended up with three each (oops!).

So with three watches in-hand each, we decided to do the responsible thing and style them in three different ways: an everyday look, a casual look, and a dressy look. Honestly, Shinola's watches are so versatile that these combinations are relatively interchangeable, but here's our take on the three different looks.
