TRAVELING WITH SUITSUPPLY

Ahead of our styling event with Suitsupply this Thursday, I got to test drive their Traveller Suit. The suit is extremely versatile, and its wrinkle resistant properties make it an ideal suit when you’re on the go. So I wanted to share with you one of the many scenarios you might wear one: A Business Trip.

Many of you have been there-- you've got a 2pm meeting out of town, and you have to be in a suit all day-- running in/out of airports, restaurants, boardrooms, and bars. I've done it, and it's not easy, but you can rest your mind at ease knowing that you won't look like a disheveled mess when it's time to present.

Here's how that day might look...

1. PACKING FOR TAKE-OFF (7:06am, ET)

Thankfully, these types of trips require minimal packing, even for a heavy packer like me.

2. BUT FIRST, COFFEE. (8:12am, ET)

3. TOUCH DOWN IN DALLAS (12:33pm, CSt)

A suit so well-made, it'll even emerge the victor against a 3.5 hour flight in coach.

4. THE PITCH (2:00pm, cst)

Look cool under pressu-- okay I couldn't let myself finish that cliché, but seriously, with its (traditionally "casual") patch pockets, you'll feel formal enough to pitch to the grey-hairs in the room but modern enough to be yourself.

5. A WELL-DESERVED COCKTAIL (5:27 PM, PT)

You've earned it. Take off the tie and head down to your hotel's bar to celebrate a job well done in your well-made suit.
