DAMAGE WAS DONE

 

Damage was done both literally and metaphorically.

First off, I periodically feel compelled to give props to my good friend and barber, Henry J. Mendoza of Dei Gratia & Co. I've trusted only him with my hair the last three years, and he has yet to disappoint. Being half Mexican/Dominican, I've always had curly hair (think Justin Timberlake during NSYNC-- minus the highlights) that I never fully embraced (well, except that small window in 2003 when I rocked cornrows). So when Henry (and Angelee) convinced me that I could look like the cooler  Justin Timberlake, I was on board! It's been about three years now without a shaved head, and I don't plan on going back anytime soon!
