GARRETT LEIGHT CALIFORNIA OPTICAL

Last week, we had the pleasure of visiting the (semi) recently opened Garrett Leight California Optical store off Knox St. here in Dallas. We actually had the opportunity a few days prior to meet Garrett himself while he was in town for his event with Forty Five Ten. His approachable, laid back personality allowed for great conversation and set the tone for our experience in his store. 

The store, like Garrett himself, is inviting with an undeniable air of west coast cool. We were immediately greeted by Amber and Miguel who instantly felt like old friends— and we don’t say that loosely. Their hospitality, combined with their knowledge of the brand makes for one of the best customer experiences anywhere. 

The frame collection, as you can see, covers a wide range of classic and funky. And with GLCO’s ability create custom lenses for any frame, the selection possibilities are virtually endless. Again, there’s a wide variety of styles, but the general feel of the collection feels like the essence of summer, and we can’t wait to soak it in.

And yes, we absolutely walked out with the flip clip frames you’ll see below.
