(BEYOND) VALENTINE'S DAY: A CASE FOR MATCHING
Okay— we know we’re not the only ones. You know, when you and your significant other emerge from opposite ends of the closet wearing the same damn thing?!
Usually, one of us will go back and change so we don’t look like that weird couple who matches outfits. But every once in a while, we’ll just lean into it and show up to the function full-on TWINNING.
To be honest, when done sparingly, twinning not only calls [even more] attention to our looks, it also emphasizes the two of us as a pair— a matching set, if you will. And though it’s easy enough for both of us to walk out the door wearing matching jeans and grey t-shirt (happens ALL the time), we like the idea of putting some effort into our matching outfits. Whether it’s a special pair of shoes, a bold shirt, an iconic jacket, or all of them at once— there are so many ways to create a special look as a pair. Here’s our crack at a few…
