HIS+HER x HAIR REVIVAL

Though many of you may not want to hear this, we don't typically celebrate Valentine's Day on February 14. So when the good folks at Hair Revival reached out to us to visit their new space, we couldn't say no. The salon itself is a charming, old converted house that has served as a salon in some form or fashion for the last several years. Blake (stylist and salon owner) and team have done a great job of restoring the space and truly making it their own.

ANGELEE: I love how Blake respected the fact I currently have a go-to hairstylist. He took the time to educate me on my head, scalp, and ultimately my hair. From boar bristle brushes (stimulates your scalp) to an 'energizing' treatment, I really believe every hair on my head was dancing to beat they have never danced to before the treatment. Blake truly delivered what I was lacking in my day to day hair routine: Volume. Thank you for introducing me to Davines Texturizing Dust!

EDDIE: For the last year, I've been growing out my hair and have only let my good friend, Henry Jerome tend to it. Up until now, I would (happily) drive much farther to get a cut, but I'm loving the fact that he and Blake have planted roots so close to home, and in such a great neighborhood. For this appointment, Henry gave me my "usual":  long on top, a low fade, and an accentuated part.
