As you probably know by now, we are super close with our brother/sister-in-law duo, Josh and Yesi (Fort Lion Studio). And since we run in such similar circles, we have a ton of friends in common. That being the case, last year we decided to throw a happy hour to get all of those special people under one roof. Thankfully, it was such a success that we decided to make it an annual gathering.
So this year we took to Upside, the rooftop bar atop the Canopy by Hilton hotel in West Village. We couldn’t have asked for better weather or a better group of friendly, talented individuals.
The common theme throughout the night (this year and last) was people connecting with new people.
It was honestly surreal at times to see such a comprehensive collection of friends sharing a single space and getting acquainted. We feel truly blessed to have assembled such a great network of people and hope to keep the tradition going. So cheers to all of you who came and we hope to see you next year!
