THE HUSBAND SHIRT

Here is my shopping routine as of late - I see an okay top, I buy it. I see a pair of okay bottoms, cha-ching, it's mine. Every girl's dream, amirite? Thffff! I have found myself buying a piece here and buying a piece there. Making me feel basic and uninspired. Ugh, I was finally fed up of settling and not buying purposefully.

Recently, Eddie and I were doing some spring cleaning in our closets. I will say there were a few shirts of Eddie's that caught my eye.

So what does your girl do? She snatches two them right up and gets to work. Well not me, my tailor.

I was inspired to request the long sleeves to be cut, and the body of the shirt to be shortened. Voilà! I have two new men's inspired tops, and I cannot wait for the other (not pictured) to get back from dry cleaning. Eeek!!
